RMCAD Create Day
Organized a few times throughout the year, RMCAD Create Day is the perfect opportunity to experience the little things that make our school so special. While the event is open to everyone, this is a particularly ideal time for students entering their senior year of high school to start exploring RMCAD. So just what is RMCAD Create Day? This full day of activities is designed to immerse you in the world of our tight-knit community, combining fun workshops, an educational Info Fair, and campus tours to give you a true taste of student life.

You can schedule an individual or family tour on any weekday or Saturday (barring holidays), and we’ll tailor your visit to your specific interests. Please allow up to three hours for your visit, or longer if you plan to audit a class. During your visit, you can meet with an admissions counselor or department advisor; explore the campus; attend a class in your favorite area of study; and visit with financial aid representatives to discuss your variety of options. Visit Our Galleries
RMCAD is home to four galleries, which showcase the work of our students and faculty, as well as visiting national and international artists. Campus is also home to an outdoor sculpture garden.
We welcome you to visit the Philip J. Steele, Rude, Alumni and Student Galleries! Gallery hours are 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Please check in at the front desk of the Texas Building for a parking pass and campus information. Click here to read about current exhibitions.
Getting to RMCAD
RMCAD is located at:
1600 Pierce Street, Denver, Colorado 80214
To reach our campus:
• Take the 6th Avenue West exit from I-25.
• At Wadsworth Boulevard, head north
• Turn east on Colfax Avenue.
• Pierce Street is ½ mile east of Wadsworth, off of Colfax Avenue.
• Turn north on Pierce Street and proceed ½ a block.
• Enter the campus through the main gates (by the brick signs).
Visitor parking is available on the north side of the Texas Building, the first building you encounter as you enter the campus. Please enter through the north entrance of the Texas Building and check in at our Information Desk in the center of the first floor hallway.
RMCAD has two preferred lodging partners:
The Holiday Inn Lakewood, an award-winning, full-service hotel is located 8 miles south of campus. RMCAD visitors may enjoy a significantly discounted standing room rate of $64/night.
