Returning Students

A returning art college student looking off in the distance

You can reach your goal to graduate

We understand that sometimes life can get in the way, making it necessary to take a break from college. However, we believe that doesn’t mean you have to put your dreams on hold permanently. If you are ready to finish what you started, we can help.

The re-entry program at RMCAD will assist you in returning to school after a gap in your education. Our goal is to help you transition back to school, while working through your questions and concerns.

Your Re-entry Counselor will:

Address any concerns you have

Provide personalized assistance to guide you through the re-entry process

Help you complete any documents you need

Guide you through financial planning

Plan your return date

At RMCAD, we stand ready to support you and your art + design goals. We look forward to working with you to help you achieve your dream.

Diversity, equity, inclusion

We maintain a policy of inclusiveness that recognizes, values, and reflects the diversity of the community it serves.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) introduces individuals to facets of difference, enables all to succeed, and creates an environment that respects and values individual differences along varying dimensions. The integral values of DEI guide our academic and institutional development, serving our mission to prepare learners to be forces of change in their industries, communities and the world.

Whether you’ve lived in Denver your whole life or you’re making the big move to attend RMCAD, you’re likely to fall in love with the area’s natural beauty, bountiful outdoor adventures, and incredible urban amenities. RMCAD does not currently offer on-campus housing.  However, there are Student Living options located in the Denver Metro area that can provide a traditional college housing experience for RMCAD students.

Student Work + Success

Becoming a student is just the beginning of the journey. We believe creativity happens outside the lines, and artistic development inside these walls. The student work and success stories are just the result of learning in an environment where you are encouraged to dream, create, and inspire.
