The Health and Wellness Center includes the Counseling department and Student Accessibility Services. Located in the Rotunda building, we offer support for all students facing any challenges in their personal, professional, and academic lives.

COUNSELING

Support You Need, People You Trust

No matter where you’re coming from, you may encounter challenges that affect your academic and personal progress during your time in college. Counseling services are available to all students. Our personal and mental health counselors give one-on-one counseling and support concerning a wide range of topics, from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and grief. And as always, this student support is personalized, confidential, and free of charge.

  • A Colorado native, Greg has traveled extensively around the globe for 10 years. He has been a practicing counselor for 9 years and provides client-focused support in finding your authentic self.

  • Kim is originally from Buffalo, NY, and loves art, gardening, qigong, and visiting hot springs. She is a trauma-informed counselor with extensive training in art therapy, EMDR, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness meditation.

  • Ashlyn is from Chicago, IL, and enjoys live music, reading crime novels, and her bird Rio. She practices CBT-DBT and mindfulness-based counseling.

Katherine Connolly, SWC

  • Katherine is from Wayne, PA, and loves to play music, write poetry, and go birdwatching with her pet dog Izzy. Her practice is rooted in lived experience, and she utilizes narrative therapy, CBT, and person-centered approaches.

*All our counselors are Licensed/Registered psychotherapists in the State of Colorado. Counseling is private and confidential. We follow HIPAA and Colorado state law.
