We're Listening

RMCAD is committed to providing the best possible educational environment for its students. We encourage an open and inclusive atmosphere in which any conflict, complaint, suggestion, or question receives a timely response from RMCAD staff and/or faculty. Student feedback is encouraged in a variety of ways including RMCAD Resolve, Student Forums, Course Evaluations, and the Annual Student Satisfaction Survey.

RMCAD strives to ensure fair, honest, and equal treatment of its community members. RMCAD Resolve empowers students to access resources and report concerns in the following areas:

For students who have been unable to satisfactorily resolve their concerns with a faculty or staff member.

For any community member who has been the target of or a witness to a bias incident.

For students and college employees to submit a formal complaint of prohibited sex-based discrimination within the college.

This form is to be used to submit concerns regarding students or staff members exhibiting signs of serious distress, or engaging in harmful or disruptive behavior.

This form is to be used to submit concerns and information to the Academic Integrity Committee.

This form is to be used to submit a written referral—other than Title IX and Sex-Based Discrimination or an alleged violation of the Student Code of Conduct.

For guests, visitors, or other public parties to submit a formal complaint of prohibited sex-based discrimination within the college.

Complaints to External Agencies

Several external agencies are also available to students who have exhausted all other opportunities for complaint resolution.

The Colorado Department of Higher Education regulates Colorado institutions of higher education. Their complaint policy may be found here.

Complaints regarding the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the criteria of institutional accreditation may be directed to the Higher Learning Commission. Their complaint policy may be found here.
