RMCAD'S ACCELERATE PROGRAM - PRE-COLLEGE COURSE FOR HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS & SENIORS
Join us for an 8-week online studio course designed for high school students—just $99!
In these beginner-level classes, you’ll explore core concepts in visual art and design, fashion and more, developing your creative skills through hands-on projects and digital tools. Whether you’re working with traditional materials or experimenting with design software, you’ll start building a foundation in visual thinking and artistic expression.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how artists organize visual elements, develop ideas, and communicate through their work. It’s a great first step toward building your portfolio—and your future.
In addition, by the conclusion of this college-level course, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your portfolio for assessment to potentially earn proficiency credits. If successful, you could save around $2,220* in tuition fees at RMCAD and avoid the need to repeat this course.

JOINT Enrollment
RMCAD offers the opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to enroll for college credit while still completing their high school degree. Joint enrollment students may register for one class in an 8-week term and up to 6 credits per semester for a total of 12 credits in an academic year.
*Financial Aid is not available for joint enrollment and cannot be used to cover the cost of attendance, books, or supplies – although students may receive financial support from their high school.
What is the difference between joint and dual enrollment?
RMCAD offers joint enrollment, giving high school students the opportunity to be enrolled in both college and high school. Students earn college credit, but this credit may not be applied to meet high school graduation requirements. Dual enrollment is an agreement between and college and the student’s high school in which the student earns dual credit, which can be applied to a high school graduation requirement.

Admissions Process
Embarking on the journey to becoming a RMCAD student is an exciting endeavor. Our admissions process is designed to get to know you, while you learn about RMCAD and what we offer.
We invite you to visit RMCAD either virtually or in-person. You’ll work closely with our faculty and even sit in on a class or two from your selected department. Learn all about RMCAD from your Admissions Representative who will help you develop a path to get you from your first day of class to graduation and, ultimately, to a successful future in the world of art and design.
