Active Military Scholarship ‐ Active Duty | National Guard | Reservists TA (Tuition Assistance)

RMCAD is proud to offer an Active Duty Military Scholarship to active members of the United States Armed Forces. This Active Duty Military Scholarship will reduce the tuition rate to $250 a credit hour. In order to prove eligibility for the Active Duty Military Scholarship, you will need to provide proof of your Active Duty status to your financial aid advisor or email them to militaryfs@rmcad.edu.

Tuition Assistance (TA) enrollment requests must first be approved by your Educational Officer (ESO) military counselor within the Military branch and then submitted to RMCAD prior to your start date.

At RMCAD, we are proud to serve those who have served. We also understand that our military family may benefit from additional resources to transition into school and civilian life. That is why we offer a military student lounge, on-campus military-focused mental health counselor, and School Certifying Officials (SCO) who have been trained in PTSD response situations.

At RMCAD, we also offer an Active Duty Military Scholarship to active members of the United States Armed Forces. Learn more below.

RMCAD Renew Program

RMCAD’s Renew Program gives graduates the opportunity to continuously refresh their skills and stay current within their respective creative fields. Graduates may audit any current course within their original degree program, whether core or elective, completely tuition-free. Our military graduates also gain permanent access to our Career and Alumni Services, which aid in job placement and career advice.

Military Student Readmissions

In the event a service member may be unable to continue in classes due to service related obligations, the service member will need to provide a written notice of their military orders to the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@rmcad.edu as early as possible.

In accordance with federal regulations, 34 C.F.R. § 668.18, and the Department of Defense (DoD) Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), RMCAD will readmit any service members who seek readmission to a program that was interrupted due to a uniformed service obligation.

Returning students will need to reach out to the Re-entry Counseling team at 720-643-4211 or reentry@rmcad.edu
