60th Annual Student Exhibition

Each year, students, faculty, and staff come together to celebrate the talent and hard work of our students at the Annual Student Exhibition. The event is a RMCAD tradition occurring since the college was founded in 1963.
The exhibition is a juried competition; student work is judged in categories against other work of the same discipline. Departments and their faculty select a panel of jurors to choose recipients for the Best of Department Awards. There will also be a top prize awarded by the Gallery and Dean of Students for the RMCAD Award for Creativity. Once the work has been selected, the gallery staff curates the exhibition space in the prestigious Philip J. Steele Gallery on campus.
Join us for the awards ceremony in person in the Mary Harris Auditorium or online through the provided Zoom Webinar link. The Gallery staff, Chairs, and Faculty will present their department’s category awards, with prize money given to selected winners after the exhibition reception. The winners for each category will also have a great new resume and CV item in addition to the prize!
The exhibit’s Opening Reception will be on Thursday, October 5th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with the Awards Ceremony held that night from 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Mary Harris Auditorium. The exhibit will be on display from October 5th – November 10th, 2023 during open gallery hours, Monday – Friday from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
