While there are no actual clams nor will we smoke out the venue, this speaker series stews the pot of design leaders, design thinkers, and design makers, who all got their start right here in Colorado. Join us and our mile high designers, Nick Spriggs (Design and Branding Partner at Vector), Willie Petersen (Advertising/Editorial Photographer), and Sara Blette (Founder of Make My Notebook), as they take us on an inspirational journey that explores the pathways, the work, the challenges, and the opportunities of their career growth and success.

He is driven by the desire to bring design thinking to his clients’ needs and problems to create ownable, intuitive and beautiful solutions that speak directly to his clients’ audiences. His award winning work spans the gamut from major app and website redesign initiatives for some of the world’s largest consulting groups, luxury hotels, and law firms, as well as brand and product experiences for City and State agencies, educational institutions, start-ups and world-leading photographers. Originally from Australia, Nick first moved to Colorado to study at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Willie Petersen
Willie Petersen (Founder of Willie Petersen Creative) is an award-winning commercial photographer based in Denver, Colorado. He worked as an art director in New York City for a decade before discovering his real passion in photography. Willie now works with many agencies, magazines and companies to help bring their visions to life. http://www.williepetersenphoto.com

Sara Blette
Dreams don’t happen unless you get them out of your head and onto paper. Or at least that’s what Sara Blette, interior designer, product developer, art director, super mom, and owner of Make My Notebook, discovered. Finding pleasure in the simplicity and beauty of paper was easy for this avid writer, but finding the perfect book to collect all her musings, drawings and notes proved difficult. “There was a lack of high quality, eco-friendly, handmade notebooks on the market. I knew that there had to be others like me that were passionate about paper- and it really sparked something inside of me.” http://www.makemynotebook.com
