Each year students, faculty and staff come together to celebrate the talent and hard work of our students at the Annual Student Exhibition. The event is a RMCAD tradition occurring since the college was founded in 1963.
The exhibition is a juried competition; student work is judged in categories against other work of the same discipline. Departments and their faculty select a panel of jurors to choose recipients for the Best of Department Awards. There will also be a top prize awarded by the Gallery and Dean of Students for the RMCAD Award for Creativity. Once the work has been selected, the gallery staff curates the exhibition space in the prestigious Philip J. Steele Gallery on campus.
The exhibit’s Opening Reception will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the Awards Ceremony held that night from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Mary Harris Auditorium. To attend the opening event virtually, please visit here.
The exhibit will be on display from October 4, 2022 – November 4, 2022 with open gallery hours, Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00p.m. MST.
