Open 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. MST Monday through Friday
Celebrating the Body is an exhibition to be curated by Graphic Design student Tatum Robson in conjunction with the Philip J. Steele Gallery on display in March, 2022. The exhibit aims to showcase student artworks of a figurative nature and subject matter that celebrates the human form in various media. All departments, as well as both on-ground and online students are welcome to submit for entry, and artists can submit up to 8 works for consideration. The Gallery Director and Curator will review all submissions and notify each artist of their accepted work.
All submissions must be completed and gallery ready, such as framed/mounted images, dry paint, professional display methods, high resolution images/video, etc. to be included in the exhibit. Work that is deemed not ready or has a lack of installation method may not be included in the exhibit. If you have any questions about gallery readiness, please contact us at pjsgallery@rmcad.edu.
The form to submit work will be open until Jan. 28th, 2022, which you can fill out here. Please be sure to use your RMCAD email address when filling this out, and be sure to give pjsgallery@rmcad.edu and tatum.robson@rmcad.edu editing access to your included images from Google Drive.
The curators will notify artists of accepted work and contact you with any questions the week of January 24th, 2022. Accepted work will be asked to drop off work and/or send digital files from February 1-18, 2022 during gallery hours (Monday-Friday, 11am-4pm) at the Philip J. Steele Gallery. If you have any questions please contact pjsgallery@rmcad.edu.
