This year RMCAD will be hosting the 2023 biennial Foundations in Art: Theory & Education conference, Serious Play. The F.A.T.E. conference is a gathering of artists, designers, historians, and educators who share the goal of making the foundational experience in art a springboard for a successful academic and professional life.
This concurrent student exhibition is a selection of foundations student works that represents the structure and mission of the Foundations program at RMCAD. Faculty have selected student works that reflect the high level of design, making, and thinking skills facilitated through their teaching practice. This exhibition celebrates the hard work, ingenuity, and creativity of Foundations students and faculty at RMCAD.
The exhibit’s Closing Reception will be on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The exhibit will be on display from Monday, April 3, 2023 – Friday, April 28, 2023 with open gallery hours, Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
