Dinorah is from New York where she is currently a practicing artist. She holds an MA in Communications, an MS in Psychology and a doctoral degree in Sociology. Dinorah’s areas of specialization include: Interpersonal Communication & Conflict Resolution; Management & Leadership; Race, Gender & Intersectionality, Symbolic Interactionism & Studies of the Self, Wellness & Stress Management, Social Class & Culture.
She seeks ways to facilitate innovative and diverse multimodal approaches to learning the social and behavioral sciences in ways that help students to be critical consumers of information and productive contributors to the larger social community. She also enjoys working with creative and collaborative individuals to create lasting change through compassionate and evocative discussions.
In addition to her work as an educator, she serves as a Consultant for Broadcast & Streaming Media Productions, a Contributor to Print & Digital Media Platforms, and a counselor & coach in private practice.
