Theresa is currently located in Denver and has lived here for the past 30 years. She holds a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Theresa’s creative work has explored environmental relationships for over 25+ years. Her abstract landscapes and public installations transform essential data about global warming and our ecological impact into extensive visual articulations.
Theresa believes that being an artist does not stray far from being a teacher; they both come from the heart and soul. She loves teaching the courses that bookend our program (Introduction to Art Education, Methods of Art Education) and watching RMCAD students grow to be the next generation of K-12 Art educators. She loves nature, and being outdoors greatly influences my life and creative work.
