To celebrate the Summer Solstice, Student Life is hosting a full week of events for students to relax, engage in mindful activities, and have a little fun.
Mindful Monday: Gratitude Journals
Monday, June 18, 11:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Learn how to make your very own gratitude journal with the help of RMCAD faculty member Alicia McKim. This will be a step-by-step session that will teach you how to bind your own book. Use it for sketching or writing, give it away as a gift, or use it as a gratitude journal where you can record all of the good things that happen to you. Materials will be provided.
Blended: Yoga + Fresh Pressed Juice
Tuesday, June 19,1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Want to improve your health physically and mentally? Join Student Life outside Spivak on the Carpenter Lawn to indulge in some fresh pressed juice and rejuvenate with a soul-replenishing yoga session. This event is also a chance to learn some juice recipes you can try at home.
Build Your Own Succulent Gardens
Wednesday, June 20, 11:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Learn how to build your own succulent garden! You’ll be able to choose from different pots, plants, and will receive care instructions so that you can keep your garden alive and healthy. Supplies will be provided.
Summer BBQ + Tarot Card Readings

As always, Student Life will be hosting its weekly summer barbecue, but this week has a special twist. Cooper Kaminsky from Ritual Craft will be present to do tarot card readings so you can grab some lunch and discover your future at the same time! Stop by her tent to learn more about yourself and gain some insight on what your future holds.
