For RMCAD Alum and Photographer Kevin Tydlaska, Learning Never Stops

Why would a photographer who’s worked in the field for years go back to art school? For Kevin Tydlaska, it was the opportunity to finally have a formal degree.

“It’s something I wanted to do for myself,” he said.

Tydlaska decided to enroll in RMCAD’s online program for Commercial Photography. As it turns out, Tydlaska got more than just a degree.

“It checked my ego [as a photographer],” He said. “It challenged me to take a step back. No, you don’t know everything and you’re always going to learn.”

Hear more about Tydlaska’s experience with RMCAD, his work as an artist and a commercial photographer, and what it takes to be successful as an online student.
