On July 22, 2026, Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) was named in EdSights’ Student Voice Score (SVS) report as among the top 20% of 4-year Private Colleges. This comes as a great honor, as EdSights is a leading data analysis firm in the higher education space. 2026 is the inaugural year of EdSights’ SVS report. Throughout the spring of 2026, the EdSights team compiled responses from over “125,000 students across 257 institutions.” With direct feedback from students, EdSights utilizes this data to provide schools with accurate scores and rankings to better aid fellow students.
Ranking #17 of the Best 4-year Private Colleges, RMCAD proved itself as a top contender in the higher education space. RMCAD prides itself on delivering on the needs of prospective students from all audiences. According to the report, the positive feedback that colleges like RMCAD received is “anchored in personalization. Students appreciate when professors and advisors know them individually, offering the kind of high-touch guidance that validates the sector’s core value proposition.”
RMCAD’s Dean of Students, Sara Olson, responded to the accolade by saying, “RMCAD is honored to be recognized in this list along so many other great schools. It’s a huge achievement to be named not only as a top college in the art and design sector, but across all program offerings.” Olson elaborated that she sees this report as “the culmination of a million small moments that affect thousands of prospective students. This report represents the thoughts and feedback of those students. At RMCAD, we always look to student voices to aid our college’s improvement.”
